The name HILO stands for Hygienic Incomparable Loaf Outlet and also derives from Arabic meaning sweet, while Makhbaz means bakery. What began as a small family-run bakery with just three members has grown into one of the most trusted and popular bakery brands in Kashmir.
With a strong focus on food safety and scientific baking practices, and backed by professional expertise in Food Technology, we introduced health-focused bakery products such as NutriEats cookies, millet cookies, and nutrition-conscious items. Building on this foundation, we became the first bakery in Jammu & Kashmir to manufacture FSSAI-approved fortified bread and bakery products, delivering essential nutrients without compromising taste.
